_Through TSHP, students may apply to become a member of the Student Section Executive Committee and serve as a representative to the TSHP Board of Directors. Pharmacy students may also apply to be a member of one of the five TSHP Councils.
TSHP Student Section Executive Committee
The TSHP Student Section Executive Committee (SSEC) is looking for members to take on leadership roles at the state level. The committee coordinates statewide activities between college chapters and is the student voice at TSHP Board Meetings. An important additional duty of the SSEC is to plan to student programming at Annual Seminar. Each year three student representatives from each college chapter are selected by their respective chapters. The full Executive Committee selects the Chair and Vice Chair for the coming year. If you are interested in applying for a position on one of the councils, please complete the "call for volunteers" form when it is distributed in the Spring of each year.
There are also several leadership opportunities for pharmacy students on the national level. A student may serve on the Student Forum Executive Committee, on one of five ASHP Advisory Groups, or on one of five ASHP Councils.
