Texas turned out in style to celebrate the achievements of TSHP Past-Presidents, Diane Ginsburg and Randy Martin. TSHP members traveled to Portland this month to attend the ASHP Pharmacy Futures conference. Not only were our members there to continue to advance the profession of pharmacy through participation in the ASHP House of Delegates, but also to support our Texas friends in their personal accomplishments.
Attendees were honored to witness Diane Ginsburg receive the Harvey K. Whitney Lecture award. This award is the highest honor bestowed upon a pharmacist by ASHP. Diane’s speech was delivered with the signature poise and grace with which she has become known.
In addition, Randy Martin was honored as a member of the 2024 Class of ASHP Fellows. Randy’s contributions to pharmacy have been demonstrated through his sustained service. Dr. Martin continues to serve the pharmacy community through his current position as the hospital representative on the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
Congratulations again to our esteemed colleagues Diane and Randy, and we wish them continued success!
