Membership

Pharmacist

A Pharmacist member is an individual who is licensed or eligible for a license as a pharmacist by any state, district, or territory of the United States.

Annual dues include one (1) local chapter membership. Pharmacist members may vote and hold office within TSHP.

$113 - Joint Spouse

For qualifying Pharmacist members in a spousal relationship with another active Pharmacist member at the full Pharmacist dues rate.

Technician

Individuals who are registered with a state board of pharmacy as a technician, certified as a pharmacy technician or employed as a pharmacy technician or technician in training in any health care setting, work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, and assist in preparing, distributing or administering medication.

Annual dues include one (1) local chapter membership and membership in the Technician Section. Technician members may attend meetings and may be granted the privilege of the floor, but shall not be entitled to vote or hold an elected office (except as otherwise provided in the TSHP Bylaws).

New Practitioner

A New Practitioner member is an individual who is within 5 years of graduation from a School or College of Pharmacy and is licensed or eligible for a license as a pharmacist by any state, district, or territory of the United States.

Annual dues include in TSHP, one (1) local chapter, and membership in the New Practitioner Section. New Practitioner members may vote and hold office within TSHP.




Student Pharmacist

A Student Pharmacist is an individual enrolled full time in a pharmacy degree program (graduate or undergraduate) in an accredited college or school of pharmacy or a pre-pharmacy program leading to enrollment in a college or school of pharmacy.

Annual dues include TSHP, one (1) local chapter, and your college/school of pharmacy Student Society (SSHP). Student members may attend meetings and may be granted the privilege of the floor, but shall not be entitled to vote or hold an elected office (except as otherwise provided in the TSHP Bylaws).

Associate

An Associate member is a non-pharmacist working in the pharmacy industry who supports the objectives of TSHP.

Annual dues include one (1) local chapter membership. Associate members may attend meetings, and may be granted the privilege of the floor, but shall not be entitled to vote or hold an elected office (except as otherwise provided in the TSHP Bylaws).

Retired Pharmacist

A Retired Pharmacist is an individual who is/was licensed or eligible for a license as a pharmacist by any state, district, or territory of the United States and is fully retired from pharmacy work.

Annual dues include one (1) local chapter membership. Retired Pharmacist members may vote and hold office within TSHP.

Membership rates include a full year (365 days) of membership. Expiration/renewal date is based on the date your membership payment is received in full. Membership will be eligible for renewal within 30 days of your expiration date.

*Student Pharmacist members can add on ASHP membership for an additional fee. (See ASHP.org for current membership rate) Please NOTE: Activating or renewing ASHP student membership through TSHP is NOT an automatic process. When paid through TSHP, ASHP membership can take 2-3 weeks to process; however, it may take up to 4-6 weeks to activate during peak times (Fall/Winter). Please consider this lagtime when attempting to register for ASHP events.
