TSHP R&E Foundation Poster Session and Competition

The TSHP Research & Education Foundation Poster Session and Competition occurs each year at the TSHP Annual Seminar. The poster session is an opportunity for Seminar registrants to display original scholarly work in poster format. If applicable*, posters can compete in one of seven categories.

Challenge Summary:

• Categories: Posters can be submitted for Display-Only or compete in one of seven (7) categories:

  1. Resident/Fellow/Post-Graduate PGY1 Category includes posters submitted by pharmacists enrolled in a PGY1 post-graduate residency, fellowship, or other post-graduate educational program.
  2. Resident/Fellow/Post-Graduate PGY2 Category includes posters submitted by pharmacists enrolled in a PGY2 post-graduate residency, fellowship, or other post-graduate educational program.
  3. Student Category includes posters submitted by student pharmacists enrolled in pharmacy academic program.
  4. Technician Category posters are submitted by practicing pharmacy technicians and technician students.
  5. Practitioner Administrative/Practice Management Category posters are submitted by registered pharmacists relating to professional practice management issues and leadership.
  6. Practitioner Clinical Category posters are submitted by registered pharmacists relating to patient care delivery, therapy, and outcomes.
  7. Practitioner Education Category includes posters submitted by registered pharmacists relating to patient, healthcare practitioner and community education, and/or educational planning, development and conduct for professional practice.

• Important Deadlines: Submission application will open on November 1, the window closes on February 28, 2026 at 11:59 PM CT.
  

• When/Where: The Poster Presentation Session will occur Thursday, April 24, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:30 PM CT.
  Presenting Authors should be present to discuss their research with attendees. Poster presenters will be provided their display space number following the close of the application period (by March 30).

• Registration: All presenters must register for the Annual Seminar. Registration costs vary depending on the date of registration and TSHP membership status. Learn More Here.

• Prize(s): One (1) winner in each category will receive $250 (made payable to the primary author), a recognition certificate from the TSHP Research and Education Foundation will be presented to the primary author. Winners will be announced during the TSHP Poster Presentation Session at on Thursday evening (5:00 - 7:30 PM). Winners will also be featured on the TSHP website and social media, in the TSHP Journal, and in the TSHP Research and Education Foundation Annual Report.
